Occupational Health Indoor Air Monitoring

Conducting a workplace industrial indoor air monitoring program at your facility is part of due diligence. As a Human Resources Manager, Health & Safety Professional, or Production Manager, you should regularly evaluate the potential for exposure to airborne contaminants released during the processes involved in your daily operations, as per Ontario Regulation 833 of R.R.O. 1990 – Control of Exposure to Biological or Chemical Agents (“O. Reg. 833”) made under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

How to identify the sources of indoor air contaminants:
  • Review your processes (i.e. welding, painting, stamping, etc.);
  • Review your Material Safety Data Sheets (“MSDSs”) for the chemicals used;
  • Listen to your workers’ complaints;
  • Call Envirovision Inc.

By discussing the specific needs of each project with our clients, we determine the most feasible and cost-effective option(s) for a customized program.

Our services include:

  • Develop an industrial hygiene program based on your specific operations;
  • Determine air contaminants sampling and analyses specifics (type and number of samples);
  • Perform field work activities according to appropriate methodologies;
  • Interpret laboratory results;
  • Provide reports that include recommendations for improving indoor air quality

If you are wondering what option is best for you, call Envirovision Inc.
